As a professional life coach, I have the joy of working with individuals all over the world who desire a deeper and more meaningful spiritual life. Drawing from my 35 years as an ordained minister, 10 of those years being a Senior Pastor, I come alongside people on their spiritual journey and help them reach new heights in their relationship with God, which then translates into a more enjoyable and fulfilling life!
Sometimes this means dealing honestly with how we feel about God, even if those feelings include hurt, anger, doubt or confusion. And it's okay to be honest and talk about those. The Bible is full of stories about the heroes of the faith struggling in their walk with God or trying to understand what He was doing in their lives. God is not afraid of our questions. He actually welcomes them, because they are signs that we're seeking and drawing closer to Him.
But then at other times, we may not have a struggle with God, but have a desire to know more about Him, or to have a more meaningful prayer life, or to discover more about His purpose and plans for our lives.
You can do all of this seeking alone, of course. But sometimes it's just good to have a "journey partner" to keep you company and to provide encouragement when you need it.
